WOW... this is badSep 08, 2007 I always enjoyed music older then I... until this album. Problem one is that Ted Lewis is at the end of his singing career, so his singing is slured and the beat is slowed(from the original recordings) to keep pace with him. Problem two, a reason I bought this album was to get the song "Me and My Shadow", and the song did not have it's own track number... instead it was at the end of a different song as a mix. A couple of the song did this as well. I thought I had found a gem... but got me colored glass.

What is on the disk?Feb 26, 2007 Perhaps I would like to buy the Cd, but it appears to contain only one song - Me and My Shadow.
That is all there is?

Me and My ShadowOct 21, 2000 This is worth the price if only for the inclusion of "Me and My Shadow". The orchestration at times is a bit overblown, but typical of the time it was recorded. It is representative of the live perfomances given by Ted Lewis from the 50's onward. My biggest complaint is with the liner notes which are sparse to say the least. Over all this is a recording that completes any collection of Ted Lewis and a great introduction to a great performer.
