Please fix the song samples, all I hear are jazz instrumentals.Jul 16, 2009 Please ignore the 3-star rating. I have to assign something. I am unable to hear the real songs. Clicking on any of the links only gets me some very ordinary live jazz instrumentals. This recording ACTUALLY comes from the Savoy Cafe in Boston, according to the announcer, who butts in on track 10, which should be the Grass Roots.
ALL the samples are clearly wrong. Please fix them, Amazon. Thanks.

disappointing in many waysFeb 23, 2009 The concept of this album is to have some of your favorite stars and bands performing live using new technology. The first 6 songs feature Mark Lindsay doing 5 Raiders classics plus his solo hit,Arizona. The mixing that was done is extremely poor on bass. Mark's vocals are often spoken [I realize people lose their singing voice as they get older, which may be the case here].Gone are the shouts and growls we heard during the 60's. Indian Reservation is a fairly good rendition and Arizona is the best of the 6. The next 6 songs by the Grass Roots are much better, but original singer Rob Grill is missing.Replacing him is Ron Dante [of the Archies and Cuff Links]who does a good job, but it's not quite the same.Jean Knight and Merilee Rush are okay with their 2 songs. Spencer Davis does 2 classics of his,but gone are Steve Winwood on vocals, being replaced by Spencer himself. These 2 songs are okay. Finally,if these are supposed to be live versions, why do 6 songs fade out at the end?If you are a Mark Lindsay fan,you might want to purchase this cd.Otherwise, this cd for the most part is very disappointing.
